The safest way to clean natural stone is to first remove dirt from floor by sweeping or soft brush vacuum.  Mix white vinegar and warm water (1:4 ratio) and apply with rag mop slightly wet .  Continue mopping until water starts to become cloudy, then dump the dirty water and make a fresh batch of water and vinegar.  Mopping with dirty water defeats the purpose of mopping.  It may take several batches of water to get your floor clean.  We use a pad mop to dry the floors after mopping to ensure no puddles are left behind.  It also makes for a streak free finish on your floor.

White Gloves Cleaning Service realy has some awesome alliances!  One of the greats is Mike Wyckoff with Flying Carpet. Gina called Mike Friday morning to ask if he knew how to get a white paint spot off of a red sofa.  Within two hours, Mike arrived on scene with his spot removal tools and before we could finish vacuuming a room, he was finished and so was the spot!  Way to go Mike!!!  And because Mike is such a great guy, he waived the charges.  Wow what a hero!  So if you are in the market to have your carpets  and area rugs cleaned along with your leather pieces, give Mike a call.  He is truly the expert. Thanks to Jared and Tom Wilson of Cape Fear Cleaning Solutions, one of White Gloves Cleaning clients is even happier.  Jared and Tom came out in response to a last minute call on Friday around noon and by 1:00 that day, they were on sight to review the situation at hand.  White Gloves had cleaned the 1st floor windows in the previous weeks but the remaining windows were 20 feet up and the client had just decided Friday morning to have them cleaned.  Needless to say, Jared and Tom saved the day!! Great job Cape Fear Cleaning Solutions!!!

Things may be off to a rough start this week, but there is one great thing happening. We just recieved the final copy of our new promo video for our up and coming website. Wow! White Gloves has gotten off  to a really crazy start!  Thanks to our trusty team, our clients are still getting served with some scheduling adjustments.  Our clients are great and patient when “life gets in the way”. 

Wonder what gave White Gloves the crazy start this week?  Well, thanks to an overzealous Power90X participant…that would be our owner, Gina…a Sunday night visit to the ER was the highlight or nightmare whatever you want to call it.  Gina’s advice…”Take it slow and never..repeat NEVER do a move without a warm up.”  OUCH!!!!!  Gina’s down for the count but just this week. 

Thank’s to technology and Daniel with Aspire Videography, all is not lost.  White Gloves has completed behind the scenes work on our upcoming door hangers and our new blog.  How cool is that? Thanks Daniel…you’re a genius!!!

Looking forward to a phone meeting with Coach Reggie Shropshire before week’s end to set up the game plan for the next 90 days.
